| Lake Shore Schools has provided quality, affordable education since 1948. We currently offer programs for preschool children (ages 15 months and 3 yrs.), junior kindergarten, kindergarten, and elementary grades 1-8, as well as before and after school care (see below), and summer camps. • Excellent teacher/student ratio allows (approximately 1-10) more personal attention for each student. • Health and safety is important to us. All staff are American Red Cross Certified in CPR, First Aid, Childhood Illnesses, Communicable and Contagious Diseases. • Subject areas are enriched with Educational audiovisual materials and computers. • Students enjoy music, art, cooking, physical education, language, gymnastics, and dance clubs. • Monthly field trips Bus transportation available through Lake Shore School’s own regulation school buses operated by our full-time commercial drivers. |

Program and Services:
Before and After School Care
Lake Shore Schools offers a before and after school Program for Lake Shore
students and students from neighborhood schools. Our before school care
begins at 6:45 AM at the preschool building, 5611 N. Clark. Students will be
transported to our elementary building, 6759 N. Greenview, at 7:45 AM for
breakfast. Then neighborhood school students will be transported to their
respective schools. Our after school program begins immediately after school
(3:15 PM) and continues until 6:00 PM at the elementary school.
Neighborhood school students are picked up at their schools at the end of
their school day and transported to our elementary building where they are
offered an afternoon snack with milk.
Children enrolled will be involved in age appropriate activities under the
supervision of recreational staff. In addition, recreational programs offered on
school holidays are open to all students at an additional cost.
